When you have a medical emergency it is important responders know about pre-existing medical conditions and current medications. Having this information ensures you receive the best care possible, in the shortest amount of time.
Complete an AFD Emergency Medical Card and post it on your refrigerator. This card provides our responders with critical information such as current medications, physician's name, past surgeries, and emergency contacts. You may also include the location of advanced directives including Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders.
