Quarterly Financial Reports

We produce quarterly financial reports to help increase transparency.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR)

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a detailed financial report for a government entity, prepared to meet the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements and recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) through its Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting program. The ACFR goes beyond minimum reporting requirements to provide a complete picture of the government's financial activities, featuring an introductory section, a detailed financial section with independently audited statements, and a statistical section with trend data. The ACFR is usually completed by the end of each calendar year.

Integrated Financial Management Assessment Plan

The City of Albany has won the Government Finance Officers Association's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award since 1991. In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communication device. The award is valid for a period of one year only.
