You can request the assistance of a volunteer to coach you through the tax filing process via phone or computer screen-sharing.
File your own taxes through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and OSU College of Business
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an IRS initiative designed to support free tax preparation service for the underserved through various partner organizations. The Oregon State University College of Business is one of those partners, and every February and March, IRS certified accounting student volunteers, university volunteers, and community volunteers provide free tax preparation services to individuals and families who qualify.
